Managing Barcodes

Raising Foundation is equipped with Barcode Integration to help with library management in your institution. You’ll notice that when you’re using most of the functions of the Library (adding, renewing, returning a book etc), you have the option to search for the barcode.

A barcode can be added at any time in the Library module. This can be done following these steps :

  1. At the top of your dashboard, click the module access icon > Academics > Library > Manage barcode to open the Manage Barcode page.
  2. Enter the keyword based on the selected search mode using Book NumberTitleTag or Author
  3. Click the Search button.
  4. Type in a barcode.
  5. Click the Finish button.
